Are the ingredients in TestX Core good?
If you’re looking for this to boost your testosterone, you may be slightly disappointed with Phenom Health has done here.
The majority of the ingredients in TestX Core are wired to helping with your libido and sex drive. If this isn’t what you’re looking for, you may want to see what other T-boosters we recommend.
It’s heavy on the libido, low on the testosterone. We took a look at them so you can understand exactly what it is that this testosterone booster does.
Here’s a summary of the most notable options.
Take a look:
Horny Goat Weed
This isn’t an effective start to TestX Core. Horny Goat Weed is a nutrient which has some claims to promote testosterone, however this is not actually the case.
Despite being used in a lot of testosterone boosters on the market, the main impact Horny Goat Weed (also known as Epimedium) will do in TestX Core is mildly improve your libido.
This is all it has been seen to do in studies. You’re unlikely to get much benefit out of it aside from that.
Again, this is another libido enhancer, and not an actual testosterone booster in TestX Core by Phenom Health.
Maca extract has been seen in some cases to help improve libido, as well as support sperm quality and in some cases even help to increase sperm count.
This has only been seen to work in cases where the subject was infertile. For the average man this will not make much of a difference in TestX Core.
Another nutrient that is more angled towards libido than testosterone in TestX Core, as it is a traditional medicine for that. That said, Ginseng can help you T to some degree in TestX Core.
Ginseng can help regulate your body’s blood sugar levels, and by extension, your insulin. When your insulin levels are high, your testosterone levels are low. This is how your body balances your hormones, it’s a process known as homeostasis. The more you have of one hormone, the less you have of another.
By using something like Ginseng to help manage your insulin levels, your testosterone has more support to grow.
This isn’t a strong option in TestX Core either for testosterone. Tribulus Terrestris is one of the most over-hyped herbs in the industry for this claim.
It has only been seen to boost testosterone in animal studies or in one case with a subject with VERY low testosterone.
It doesn’t do much at all for the average Joe, and there are plenty of studies out there to reflect this. The only thing it may be able to do for you here is mildly improve your libido.
Aside from that, it’s not looking too good for Tribulus in TestX Core.
This is one of the better minerals out there for raising testosterone in TestX Core by Phenom Health. Zinc is great for improving your testosterone production.
It does this by being used for chemical reactions in your brain which help to support creation of the Luteinizing Hormone (LH). LH is your body’s precursor to both growth hormone and testosterone – the more of it you have in your system, the more support your testosterone levels have to grow.
The final ingredient in TestX Core. This is an ingredient that is similar to Ginseng in here – but works better for regulating blood sugar and insulin.
The same rules apply as they did with the Ginseng, they create a better hormonal balance and it allows your testosterone levels to grow.
It’s good to see in here, despite some of the other ingredients.
Ingredient Profile Overview for TestX Core
As you an see, this isn’t the most promising testosterone booster on the market. TestX Core makes the mistake of favouring libido over actual T.
This is a problem if you’re looking for effective returns on your sessions in the gym, and general improvements to your muscle mass.
The main ingredients that will help here are the Zinc, Fenugreek and Ginseng. But they alone are not enough for effective testosterone gains.
What could help TestX Core?
Less libido enhancers, more testosterone boosters. Remove the Tribulus, Horny Goat Weed and Maca and replace them with Mucuna Pruriens, D-Aspartic Acid.
D-Aspartic Acid and Mucuna Pruriens can boost LH like Zinc which makes it great for improving testosterone and growth hormone.
These would be great for boosting T.
Is TestX Core safe to use?
We think so. Although the ingredients in here aren’t as effective as we would like them to be – we’re not going to say it is a dangerous supplement.
It’s just a lot more geared toward improving your libido than your actual testosterone. But it should be fine.
If you have any concerns you should speak to your doctor before using this supplement.
Does TestX Core work?
If your idea of ‘work’ is that it can help to raise your libido and sex drive – then yes, it can work for you. The main ingredients to do this are there.
However, if you want it to help improve your muscle mass, overall strength and testosterone – it’s not going to be your best option.
There are plenty of better choices out there.
Where can I Purchase TestX Core?
TestX Core is available on their website, and you can also buy it from Amazon.co.uk – however, their availability varies.
TestX Core Review Summary
As you can see, this isn’t the best testosterone booster that we’ve come across on the market.
With only a handful of ingredients to help testosterone, and a lot more for your libido – it’s not ideal if you want to use TestX Core as a bodybuilding supplement.
There are several changes that we think are required to this testosterone booster’s formula before we can comfortably recommend it.
