Testosterone Booster Holland and Barrett: How are the ingredients?
There are two main ingredients in this supplement which can help to promote testosterone: Zinc and Tribulus Terrestris.
Only one of them has the studies to promote testosterone, and spoiler alert, it’s the not the tribulus!
Below, we look closer at these supplement to see exactly how they work and why. This is what you need to know:
This is the best ingredient Testosterone Booster Holland and Barrett, but also half of the ingredients in this product.
So, what does Zinc do?
Zinc is a mineral that you need to live, it helps you in several ways. But it can help testosterone especially.
After your body absorbs Zinc, it is used for several chemical reactions in your brain which can help promote your overall levels of Luteinizing Hormone (LH). LH is your body’s precursor to testosterone and growth hormone. The more LH you have in your system, the more support your testosterone has to grow.
This is arguably one of the worst ingredients in the industry for testosterone boosting at the moment.
Not because it’s dangerous – it isn’t. It’s the amount of hype it has versus the actual benefits it has.
Tribulus Terrestris has claims to promote muscle growth and overall testosterone levels. However, this is not the case in most situations.
It has been seen to work in animal studies, but those same results do not scale up to humans. The only time it has been seen to have some effect is on men with very low testosterone levels suffering from infertility issues.
For people with normal to low levels, it doesn’t have much of an effect. The most it may do for you here in this testosterone booster is mildly improve your libido.
It’s not a good choice.
Ingredient Profile Summary for Testosterone Booster Holland and Barrett
As you can see, two ingredients may not be enough for you to get the most out of this supplement.
The Zinc is good, but the Tribulus has next to no impact – and this leaves you thinking if you’re better off just getting a ZMA.
It’s a lot to think about, after we cover the side effects, we’ll let you know how we think this product could be improved.
Testosterone Booster Holland and Barrett – Any Side Effects?
We don’t have any. There’s only two ingredients in here, and they are safe to use at these dosages.
You shouldn’t run into any problems. That said, if you have any concerns, we suggest that you speak to your doctor before using it. This goes especially if you suffer from any preexisting conditions or allergies.
Is there any way to improve Testosterone Booster Holland and Barrett?
Yes. Get more effective ingredients. The Tribulus is not helping. However, if this is non-negotiable we suggest that H&B add the following:
- Magnesium – It inhibits the SHBG protein responsible for reducing testosterone potency. This allows more free testosterone in your system.
- D-Aspartic Acid – Works like Zinc to boost your levels of LH. This helps to promote testosterone and growth hormone.
- Mucuna Pruriens – Boosts Gonadotropin-Releasing Hormone (GnRH), the precursor to LH. Again, this helps testosterone and growth hormone.
- Ashwagandha – Helps to regulate your levels of the stress hormone cortisol. This creates a better hormonal balance in which your testosterone levels can rise.
These would make a lot of difference, and have much better studies to support them.
Review Summary and Conclusion for Testosterone Booster Holland and Barrett
As you can see, there’s a lot that needs to be improved with this testosterone booster.
Tribulus is never a good option for T-Boosting. The only thing it may help you with here is libido. It’s not all bad though, Zinc can help – but it’s not enough on it’s own.
We suggest looking for better options if you’re serious about raising your testosterone levels and seeing fast, effective results.
