Alpha Lean 7 Discontinued?
Despite the controversy surrounding this fat burner, Alpha Lean 7 by Hard Rock Supplements has not been discontinued or banned.
It can still be bought from various sources online. We will update this review should that information change.
Alpha Lean 7 Ingredients
There are a lot of ingredients in Alpha Lean 7. Not all of them are good, and to an extent, not all of them are safe.
Some of them can help to burn fat, others can help with focus and power output – but mainly this seems more like a pre workout than it does a fat loss aid.
It doesn’t help that it’s made up of a proprietary blend. A proprietary blend is when a supplement manufacturer chooses to hide the individual dosages of the ingredients in their product. Instead they group them all together under larger values. This stops you from knowing how much of each ingredient you’re getting or how effective it really is overall.
Below, we look at the main ingredients to see how effective it really is. Take a look:
This is a good start to Alpha Lean 7. Caffeine is a natural stimulant which has plenty of links to boosting your energy levels.
Not only that, it also has ties to improving focus, metabolism and even power output in the gym.
This makes the caffeine in Alpha Lean 7 good for helping you to burn more fat, while also improving your overall performance in the gym.
- Dandelion Powder
This is not a fat burner in Alpha Lean 7. However, it can help in other ways.
Dandelion powder is a nutrient which can help you to cut down water weight. It’s a diuretic.
This means it can make you weigh less, but it doesn’t reduce your overall fat amount.
It’s good for getting your weight lower in the short term, but if you actually want to lose more fat, it’s not a great option.
This isn’t a fat burner in Alpha Lean 7. DMAE is a nutrient that was originally used in beauty products.
It is thought to help reduce the overall appearance of wrinkles. The idea in Alpha Lean 7 by Hard Rock Supplements is that it can it can also help reduce cognitive decline.
The belief is that it can make your mind sharper to keep you more focused and motivated in the gym.
However, there’s not much proof of this actually working. Not only that, it has been seen to cause birth defects in rat studies – there’s not a lot of human studies out there either. From our Alpha Lean 7 review we think this may be a risky option.
- Theophylline Anhydrous
This is an odd choice in Alpha Lean 7. Again, it’s not a fat burner and is thought to help with your workouts.
So what is Theophylline?
It’s a drug that is used to treat asthma. This may make it easier for your lungs to expand, and get yourself more air for when you are training hard in the gym.
However, although it sounds like an effective idea, it has links to causing a range of side effects if you’re not suited to it.
It is usually a prescribed medicine and may cause nausea, stomach pain, headache, trouble insomnia, diarrhea, irritability, restlessness, anxiety, shaking, or increased urination.
Definitely not what you want in a fat burner.
- Eria Jarensis
This is effectively a neurostimulant, and an ingredient that became big in the supplement industry after DMAA was banned.
However, do not be fooled. Eria Jarensis in Alpha Lean 7 can be just as dangerous.
It can help improve your focus and energy levels however it has links to causing numerous side effects.
Eria Jarensis can rapidly increase your heart rate, blood pressure and generally make you more likely to have a cardiac issue.
This still isn’t a fat burning ingredient in Alpha Lean 7 – but it is a step in the right direction.
Betaine comes from Beetroot and can help improve the nitric oxide in your blood. In doing so it can improve muscle pumps in the gym and how fast you absorb the nutrients in this supplement.
It’s good for helping you work out, which can help you burn more fat. But there’s nothing here that will directly burn fat for you.
- Green Tea
This is the main fat burner in Alpha Lean 7. Green Tea has plenty of proven benefit when it comes to helping trim down your waistline.
Green Tea contains numerous antioxidants known as catechins which can help boost your overall levels of the fat burning hormone norepinephrine.
The more norepinephrine you have in your system, the more support your body has to help you burn more fat throughout the day.
The Green Tea in Alpha Lean 7 by Hard Rock Supplements also contains L-Theanine which can help improve overall focus.
- Cissus Quadrangularis
And just like that, we’re back to non-fat burners in Alpha Lean 7. Cissus Quadrangularis is an anti-inflammatory in this supplement.
It can help reduce inflammation as well as general swelling and irritation. This can make it easier for nutrients to pass through your blood and absorb into your system at a faster rate.
This is a slightly more effective option in this supplement.
L-Carnitine is an amino acid which has links to raising metabolism, focus and energy levels.
This makes it good for burning up more calories throughout the day, while also making you more active for gym sessions.
The only problem is that this is part of a proprietary blend in Alpha Lean 7 – you don’t know the dosage of the L-Carnitine.
Studies show that you need 500 – 2500 mg of this amino acid to get the best benefits.
However, as we don’t know the full dosages, it’s hard to know that you’re getting enough.
It may not be the most effective option in Alpha Lean 7.
This is the final ingredient that we’re covering in our Alpha Lean 7 review.
Yohimbe is a form of tree bark which has links to promoting appetite suppression.
However, human studies show that taking Yohimbe may also cause Hypertension, Anxiety and Gastrointestinal Distress.
It may not be the safest option in this supplement.
Alpha Lean-7 by Hard Rock Supplements Reviews
As you can see, a lot of the ingredients in Alpha Lean 7 by Hard Rock Supplements aren’t actually targeted at burning fat.
To some extent it seems more of a pre workout than a fat loss supplement.
Not only that, there seems to be a degree of danger associated with it too, given the problems with the DMAE, Theophylline, Eria Jarensis and Yohimbe.
There are definitely safer, more effective options out there.

Alpha Lean 7 Reviews Amazon
We looked to find some reviews of Alpha Lean-7 by Hard Rock Supplements on Amazon, however, it is no longer available on their store.
Although it hasn’t been discontinued, there are fewer and fewer online supplement stores which sell Alpha Lean 7 Fat Burner.

Alpha Lean 7 Vs Instant Knockout
How does Alpha Lean 7 compare to our current #1 Instant Knockout?
Instant Knockout is safer than Alpha Lean 7 and contains no proprietary blends. All the ingredients are completely natural with the dosages fully displayed.
Alpha Lean 7 vs Instant Knockout also differ on servings. Instant Knockout has 4 a day, whereas Alpha Lean 7 only has 2. With Instant Knockout you get much more of a constant supply of the nutrients your body needs to keep you burning fat day long.
For us, the clear winner is Instant Knockout.

Alpha Lean 7 Fat Burner Review
As you can see, this isn’t the safest fat burner that we’ve covered that’s available on the market. It seems less and companies are seeming to stock it. This may be to do with its safety, as it is one of the more risky choices we’ve encountered.
If you’re looking for a safe, effective and natural option that will give you effective results – we believe this isn’t the choice for you.
