That’s a lot of ingredients, and we can’t possibly cover them all in this review, but we’ll give you the information on the most important ones.
The main thing you have to see with Hydra Slim is how small it is – and how many ingredients there are. There’s a lot of ingredients, and no disclosed dosages. This is a slight worry as the proprietary puts all the ingredients under one large dosage so you don’t know how much you’re getting of each one or how effective they are in potency.
It’s really difficult to know how much of a difference each individual ingredient will make when spread this thin.
Below, we look at the main ingredients along with our thoughts on the matter. Take a look:
Purified Water
Nothing special here, this is essentially filtered water in Hydra Slim.
It’s free of contaminants in Hydra Slim to ensure you have a good fluid to carry the fat burning nutrients when you drink this supplement.
Ash Tree extract (bark)
This is a mild diuretic in Hydra Slim. A diuretic is a nutrient that can help reduce the overall amount of water weight and bloat in your body.
It does this by helping you to expel more fluids through your urine.
Ash Tree can be effective, but you must remember to keep drinking water to avoid dehydration.
Green Tea Extract (leaf)
One of the better ingredients in Hydra Slim Liquid. Green Tea extract is a natural fat burner that has been seen to help in numerous studies.
Green Tea is a herb which contains a specific kind of anti-oxidant known as catechins. These catechins help to promote your body’s levels of the fat burning hormone norepinephrine. This can help give you an overall boost to keep you in fat burning mode and seeing faster results.
Although it sounds good, we must always remind ourselves that the Green Tea dosage in here is undisclosed and may not be an effective amount for you to see results.
White tea extract (leaf)
This is more of an anti-inflammatory in Hydra Slim.
White tea extract has been seen in some cases to help reduce inflammation in your body. In doing so it can provide the nutrients in Hydra Slim and easier time of being absorbed into your system.
Without as much inflammation the body finds it easier to absorb nutrients. It’s a good supporting nutrient in here.
Quackgrass extract (root)
This is a mild detox nutrient in Acti Labs Hydra Slim.
Quackgrass has been seen in some cases to help improve digestion and fight bacterial pathogens.
Fennel seed extract
This is not a great option in Hydra Slim. Fennel Seed is thought to help improve energy levels via stimulation – however, there’s not much evidence which shows this to be the case.
The main benefits that have been reported with fennel seed is that it has a good aroma.
Aside from that, you’re likely to not see many results from the Fennel Seed in Acti Labs Hydra Slim.
Irvingia gabonensis extract (seed)
Also known as African Mango, this is a nutrient that was thought to help burn additional fat – but there isn’t a lot of studies to support this.
Not only that, the EU have labelled Irvingia Gabonensis a ‘novel food’ which essentially means it needs much more research done on it before it should be in supplements.
In our opinion, we don’t this is a good option in Hydra Slim Liquid.
Dandelion extract (leaf)
Another diuretic in Hydra Slim. Dandelion has been seen in several cases to help reduce water weight in subjects.
As we’ve mentioned already in this review of Hydra Slim, you should be careful to ensure that you drink enough water with this supplement to avoid dehydration.
Artichoke extract (leaf)
This is more of a general supplement aid in Hydra Slim Liquid.
Artichoke has been seen in some cases to help promote blood flow and absorption of nutrients. Taking it in Hydra Slim can help you get more out of the ingredients in supplement drink.
Kola extract (seed)
An energy booster in Hydra Slim. Kola extract contains a small amount of caffeine.
When supplemented with the right amount it can help to give you a mild boost in energy, metabolism, power output and even focus.
It’s a nice addition to this supplement.
Acai extract (fruit)
Containing a small amount of resveratrol (amino acid), Acai extract can help to promote blood flow and absorption in Hydra Slim.
This can help you get more out of the nutrients in this supplement and allow them to activate at a faster rate.
Elderflower extract (flower)
Elderflower doesn’t have much research on it when it comes to supplements. It has a lot of anecdotal evidence – but not a lot of actual study and research done on it.
The main idea is that it can help fight colds and flus which may tie into the detox angle of Hydra Slim. Aside from that, you might not notice much difference.
Green coffee extract (seed)
A good fat burner and diet aid in Hydra Slim Liquid. Green Coffee Bean is a nutrient which can help kickstart your body into fat burning mode.
It does this by helping to reduce the levels of glucose which is found in your liver. Your body uses this glucose for energy – without it, it has to burn other resources to make up the difference – like your stored fat.
Stinging nettle extract (leaf)
This is more of a hormonal management agent in Hydra Slim.
Stinging Nettle has been seen in some cases to bind with hormones in your blood known as Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG). SHBG binds with hormones making less accessible and ineffective – typically this happens a lot with testosterone.
By using Stinging Nettle you can help inhibit the SHBG and allow more useful and accessible hormones to flow your system uninhibited.
Acti Labs Hydra Slim Ingredient Summary
As you can see, there are a lot of ingredients in Hydra Slim Liquid but not a lot of talk about the dosages in it.
There are some potentially good ingredients in here like the Green Coffee Bean and Green Tea – but they seem to be overshadowed by the sheer amount of other nutrients in this supplement drink.
If you don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting, how can you know how effective it really is?
This supplement would be better if it had less ingredients but more focus and transparency on the dosages.
Is Hydra Slim Liquid Safe? | Side Effects
Hydra Slim Liquid should be safe for you to take. There are no ingredients in here that have been linked to causing side effects in supplements.
We haven’t heard any reports of Acti Labs Hydra Slim causing any problems either.
The only thing we would mention is that some people have been seen to have allergic reactions to fennel – a good indication of this is if you have any allergic reactions to peaches as they are part of the same plant family.
If you have any concerns you should always check with your doctor before using it.
Hydra Slim: Where to Buy?
The Acti Labs website is the main place where you can buy Hydra Slim Liquid.
It is available in the UK, USA and Canada.
HyrdaSlim retails for £18.50 a bottle which gives you a 25 day supply which will last you just under a month.
Acti Labs Hydra Slim Liquid UK Reviews
As you can see, there some good ingredients in Acti Labs Hydra Slim Liquid – but there are a few things which hold it back.
The main issue we have with it is the proprietary blend. You don’t know how much of each ingredient you’re getting so it can be difficult to judge how effective it is going to be.
That said, there are some good options in here like Green Tea and Green Coffee Bean – but that doesn’t mean much if they are improperly dosed.
We also think a few ingredients like Glucomannan and Cayenne Pepper would help this diet liquid – they would help with appetite suppression and thermogenic fat loss.
There’s definitely some room for improvement with this supplement, and we think there are some better options out there on the market at the moment.
