Students chose a design that represented both Birmingham WomenÕs Hospital and the ChildrenÕs Hospital joining together. They chose to use flower designs to decorate the sculpture, as the flower is a symbol used by both hospitals to represent its core values: trust, courage, compassion, respect and commitment. Pupils from across the hospital were invited to get involved, decorating the flowers alongside artist Amy Holland.
